Jack Laurenson has worked in various corners of the globe, including Vietnam, Ukraine, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Burma, China, Mongolia, Russia, Israel, Palestine, and across Europe. His ability as a writer and photojournalist has garnered recognition from publications worldwide. His work has been published in outlets such as Geographical, Asian Geographic, The Telegraph, Le Devoir, The Financial Times, The Guardian, Geo, Asian Geo, International Business Times, Crisis Response Journal, and the United Nations.
He holds a degree in photojournalism from the University of the Arts London, supplemented by journalism studies at the London College of Communication. His formative years in college were dedicated to exploring the realms of media and filmmaking, shaping him into a versatile and well-rounded storyteller. He co-founded Trident Productions and Trident Film as a dynamic film and video production companies to be based in London and dedicated to films and documentaries that captivate and inspire. Through Trident Jack and his team are working on a number of captivating documentaries and immersive narrative films.
