In 2022, Jack Laurenson co-founded Trident Productions and has since been developing feature film and documentary projects through the company. Initially rooted in Kyiv and London, Trident has taken him across borders and into a wide range of stories, experiences, and communities, shaping an increasingly international approach to storytelling.
His directorial and cinematography portfolio now showcases a wide range of projects, from award-winning short films like Metamorphosis (2022) and The Mavka (2023) to documentaries like Freedom War (2026) and A Bit of a Stranger (2024), which premiered at the Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival. Jack laurenson's screenwriting work has garnered acclaim from festivals, including the London Director Awards, the Eastern Europe Film Festival, and the Greenwich Film Festival.
